No matter what our job is, we’re human.
Minnesotans shouldn’t have to sacrifice our health or miss out on a paycheck so corporations can make bigger profits. All of us need and deserve #PaidSickDays.
That’s why, during the 2023 legislative session, we’re organizing together to pass Earned Sick & Safe Time (HF 19/SF 34) and Paid Family & Medical Leave (HF 2/SF 2) in Minnesota so none of us are forced to choose between a job and our health.
What’s at stake
Right now, too many employers are allowed to treat workers as disposable and deny people paid sick days and medical leave – particularly women and BIPOC workers. After enduring a pandemic together, we’re even clearer: we need to build an economy and institutions that care for us – across race and gender, no matter what our job is.
