Cierra was born and raised in the Twin Cities. She relocated to central Minnesota to attend St. Cloud State University pursuing a degree in criminal justice and political science. Cierra has participated in grassroots organizing and believes this kind of organizing is a brilliant way to create strong communities. She is vigilant about moving away individualistic ideologies and moving toward a more collective way of thinking. She understands that powerful movements take a collective of people operating together for liberation.
Cierra is deeply invested in building safe political space for young and BIPOC people. She has a deep dedication to dismantling systems of oppression such as racism and sexism. Her passion is to uplift the voices of disenfranchised groups of people while empowering them to walk and speak their whole truths.
