Cierra became a member of TakeAction in 2018 organizing the care team and later the St. Cloud core team. She joined her role on staff in May 2020. In her role as a lead organizer, she is responsible for building powerful relationships with our base and supporting campaigns.
Cierra is deeply invested in building sustainable political space for young people of color. She has a deep dedication to dismantling systems of oppression such as racism and sexism. Her work as an organizer is rooted in her desire to witness and know black liberation in her lifetime. Cierra’s passions are storytelling and political education. She works is to uplift the voices of disenfranchised groups of people while empowering them to walk and speak their whole truths.
