Nat (they/them) comes to the world of finance from an education and program management background. They’re interested in the ways that financial literacy can help us all do our best work in the world and they bring an anti-capitalist lens to their finance endeavors. Nat earned a Geography degree from Macalester College after four years of exploring the ever-elusive question of why things happen in the places they do. They live for democratic processes, and bring a critical lens to power analysis. Before joining the TakeAction MN team, they worked as an education program manager and a trainer on group dynamics in business practices, and are known for facilitating with movement, play, and bringing an arsenal of cooperative group games. In addition to their day job, Nat serves on the boards of OutFront MN and the Field Academy. Nat proudly lives in the Powderhorn Park neighborhood of Minneapolis with their partner, dog, and a little one expected spring 2021. When they’re not working, they love making their own chai, traveling by bike, and planning elaborate birthday parties.
