Political Education

Here in Minnesota, we look out for our neighbors. From penny auctions to save small farms during the Great Depression to the #VoteNo campaign in 2012 when we pushed back on a ban on gay marriage, Minnesotans come together during moments of crisis.

During this global pandemic, we know we can do it again if we build solidarity and fight for our communities.

Igniting Change is TakeAction’s political education program in response to COVID-19. Political education helps us build a common language to identify the things that need to change in our communities — and the things we want to build together. We’ll be taking time to learn, wrestle, and connect with each other in a way that creates movement for a revolution. Look for webinars on Zoom every other week, our Instagram TV series, and other content on our blog and social media platforms.

Training Series

Every two weeks, we will be holding interactive webinars to build a common language to identify the things that need to change in our communities and make demands.

These calls are held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Anyone is welcome to join, even if you’ve not attended previous sessions. Make sure you register in advance for a Zoom link. We will post content from the trainings on this page afterwards. Find more information using the links below.
