TakeAction Minnesota is incorporated in Minnesota as a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization. Its program activities include community organizing and coalition-building, issue campaigns, referenda, direct lobbying and candidate endorsements.
TakeAction Minnesota Education Fund is separately incorporated in Minnesota as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Its program activities include community organizing, policy research and development, public education and civic engagement. Its work is entirely nonpartisan, and it does not engage in lobbying.
Each of these organizations is separately governed by its own board of directors and files its own tax return. We strictly adhere to the boundaries and limitations of each organizations’ tax status.
TakeAction Minnesota will not collect any personally identifiable information, except where you have voluntarily provided it through a contact form.
If you do complete a form, we will use your information solely to get in touch with you or for the purpose listed in the form. We will never sell your name, email address or phone number to outside organizations, but will on rare occasions share your information with trusted allies in the progressive movement.
