Our destinies are tied together
Minnesota’s Primary Election Day is Tuesday, March 3. For weeks, we’ve been texting and calling TakeAction Minnesota members across the state about Bernie Sanders.
Here is what people are saying:
Bernie is the only candidate to refuse big dollar donations from billionaires throughout the entire election. Not one other candidate has made such a promise. Bernie cares about working families and will go to Washington to fight on our behalf. No one else will.
– John in St. Paul
I support Bernie because he cares about the health of my family. This means we won’t lose our house over medical debt and I won’t lose my partner because they don’t have medical care.
– Shannon in St. Paul.
I have two young kids, and I worry a lot about what kind of world they’ll inherit once they’re grown. There’s climate change, but also the breakdown of a lot of our democratic institutions. Bernie is the only candidate talking about the kinds of major change that we need, and that’s why I support him.

Bernie is the only guy not taking corporate money. The failing of our government is directly tied to big money in government. Of course there are a tremendous amount of other issues too, but until we start there everything else is a non-starter.
– Corey in New Ulm
Large corporations should pay taxes, the extremely rich shouldn’t get tax breaks, and we should have healthcare for everyone. Bernie Sanders is closer to putting a cap on college tuition than any other candidate. We should be able to work 40 hours a week and afford to live.
– Michelle in Sauk Rapids
It’s pretty clear to me that Bernie Sanders is the only candidate that is actually on the side of the working people… He was getting beaten and arrested for activism in his college days. He is as legit and authentic as they come.
– Jacob in Saint Cloud
It’s time for a major change and I believe Bernie Sanders will be the best for us. I supported him during the last election… Hopefully this time we can do it.
– Amy in South St. Paul
Bernie is the only candidate with a moral, anti-imperialist foreign policy. I’m a nurse, and I believe health care is a human right.

I have good employer insurance and I am still thousands of dollars in medical debt because I needed back surgery. I’m one of the lucky ones ,and I’m still in debt to the health insurance industry. Bernie wants to change this for everyone.
– Aaron in St. Paul
Bernie Sanders has the political history of sticking-up for and fighting for all Americans. His message is one of love and equality.
