This is it! The 2021 People’s Celebration is this Saturday, and we want you there!
By now, you may have seen some of the exciting speakers we have lined up to help us celebrate our 15th birthday.
We’ll be gathering with Minnesota State Senator Mary Kunesh, Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison, D.A. Bullock from Reclaim the Block, George Goehl from People’s Action, artist and activist Jeremy Messersmith, and Veronica Mendez Moore from CTUL.
Also dropping by will be Kandace Montgomery from Black Visions, Nancy Beaulieu from MN350, Duluth City Councilor Azrin Awal, Winona LaDuke from Honor the Earth, Lieutenant Governor Peggy Flanagan, Brian Fullman from ISAIAH, and Minnesota State Senator Erin Murphy. Get ready for a dance party with hip-hop artist and activist Nur-D. And many more surprise guests along the way!
Even with so many dynamic activists joining us, it wouldn’t be a party without you, {{First Name or Friend}}. Movement builders like you are the heart and soul of TakeAction Minnesota, and this is YOUR celebration.
As someone responsible for fundraising at TakeAction Minnesota, I am proud we’re building a party for the people where members from all walks of life give what they can to fuel our movement.
At this year’s People’s Celebration, we have multiple ticket levels starting at $15, and no one will be turned away. Proceeds from ticket sales will go towards continued organizing for a world where everyone has what they need to thrive.
