News Statement

St. Paul—Today, it was revealed that Rep. Jason Lewis made comments on his radio show that he was upset that you can’t call women ‘sluts’ anymore, among other disparaging remarks against women. TakeAction Minnesota released the following statement:

“When someone shows you who they are the first time—believe them. Rep. Lewis has been clear that he doesn’t share our values as Minnesotans. After voting to take away health care from Minnesotans to pay for tax breaks for the powerful few, his disparaging remarks against women are further proof that Rep. Lewis is wrong for our state. There’s is no room for sexist, misogynistic behavior in 2018. Time’s up.”
