TakeAction reached 35,000 voters for Bernie Sanders ahead of Super Tuesday

(ST. PAUL, MINN)—On the evening before Minnesota’s Presidential Primary Election, TakeAction Minnesota’s executive director will join workers and elected officials on stage at the Bernie Sanders rally at the Saint Paul River Centre.

  • Congresswoman Ilhan Omar
  • Elianne Farhat, executive director of TakeAction Minnesota
  • Striking workers,Erica Schatzlein, an English-learner teacher with the St. Paul Federation of Educators and Mayra Lopez, a janitor from SEIU Local 26 who cleans at the Amazon warehouse in Shakopee
  • TakeAction Minnesota members and elected officials St. Paul City Councilor Nelsie Yang and Minneapolis City Councilor Jeremiah Ellison

TakeAction Minnesota announced its support for Bernie Sanders in its first-ever endorsement in a presidential race in January. Since then, TakeAction Minnesota has called, texted, and door-knocked 35,000 Minnesotans across the state. Through grassroots organizing, Bernie Sanders is poised to win in Minnesota tomorrow with a multi-racial, multi-generational movement behind, ready to keep building toward November.
