We’ve Got This – Saying #Yes4Minneapolis

Minneapolis voters have the right to vote on the future of public safety in our city. The Yes 4 Minneapolis people’s petition gives us the chance to do that.

The Yes 4 Minneapolis people’s petition signature deadline is March 31st. That gives us six more days to reach the 20,000 signatures we need to put public safety on the ballot in November. We have the collective power – and responsibility – to give Minneapolis residents a chance to vote to defend Black lives and reimagine the future of public safety in our communities

We all need to be involved in this movement. Visit Moon Palace Books any day of the week from 1:00-6:00 p.m. to sign the Yes 4 Minneapolis people’s petition, and bring your pod with you. Check out the Yes 4 Minneapolis website for additional signature popup events in the coming days.

You can also support our movement by registering for a deep canvass phonebank. We’re connecting with Minneapolis voters and engaging in meaningful conversation about the future of community safety. Get involved in the future of our city’s governance by participating in City caucuses and conventions with TakeAction Minnesota.

Finally, we’d like to invite you to the rescheduled People’s Power Love Fest – it was due to be held this Saturday at George Floyd Square, but has been postponed due to inclement weather. Join us next Sunday, April 4th, for a day of community celebration and action.

There is so much at stake – and together, we’ve got this.

The problems we face are bigger than one campaign, one issue, or one election.

We need a statewide, multiracial movement to change who decides and who benefits in Minnesota. And we need you to be part of that.

Join us. Let us know what you're interested in and we will get you connected with our work.
